Integrative Medicine

What is Integrative Medicine?

Yoga
Yoga classes are among our services.

Integrative Medicine incorporates multiple approaches to healing and involves collaboration between conventional and complementary medicine practitioners.

Focusing on caring for the whole person, Integrative Medicine offers a personal approach to health by combining complementary therapies that have been proven safe and effective with conventional medical approaches.

Complementary medicine is part of a group of diverse medical and health care systems, practices and products that are not generally considered to be part of conventional medicine.  While scientific evidence exists regarding some complementary therapies, for most there are key questions that are yet to be answered through well-designed scientific studies.  Complementary medicine is used together with conventional medicine.  An example of integrative medicine is using acupuncture to lessen nausea along with an anti-nausea prescription medication.

Our practitioners will listen to your concerns and develop a caring plan just for you.
