Cross-Disciplinary Experiences
- All students will gain a basic understanding and appreciation of the scope of the Program’s cancer-related research through participation in a cross-disciplinary journal club and through course work at NCCU.
- Fellows in the Basic Laboratory Research will take Introduction to Public Health (HEDU 3210) and Introduction to Epidemiology (HEDU 3220).
- Fellows in Public Health will take Introduction to Biology (BIOL 1300) and Anatomy and Physiology(BIOL 1610 and BIOL 1620).
- In the months that the discipline-specific journal club does not meet, all Partners Fellows will meet for an interdisciplinary journal club.
