We 1. Nov.

Nov 01, 2017 12:00 AM to Nov 30, 2017 11:55 PM

For the sixth year in a row, UNC and UNC Health Care are participating in Movember – a global fundraising campaign committed to changing the face of men’s health. The Movember Foundation challenges men to grow moustaches during Movember (formerly known as November), to spark conversation and raise vital funds for men’s health programs that focus on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity. The challenge is simple: guys take action by signing up, shaving on Movember 1, and growing a moustache for the month. They grow and groom their new facial hair, asking friends and family to donate on behalf of their efforts.

We 8. Nov.

Nov 08, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 01:00 PM

Please join the UNC Cancer Network for an online telehealth lecture with Gary Winzelberg, MD, MPH. Palliative and hospice care options are offered to patients and families that are beyond a curative treatment. This lecture will explore the ways in which these care options can improve the quality of life for patients at this stage in the cancer journey. RN and Allied Health lectures offer CNE and ASRT continuing education credit (upon approval) for eligible participants. We invite anyone interested to view our lectures. Lectures are viewable online via GoToWebinar or by participating in the lecture at one of our designated viewing sites. Please contact us for more information about GoToWebinar registration or to be connected with a site coordinator near you.
