Cancer is a disease of aging, with age as the single most important risk factor for developing cancer.

 

Learn about cancer, aging and resilience from UNC cancer care experts on Friday, November 14, at Cancer Care and Older Adults: A Public Forum. 
Sponsored by UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, this free public forum from 1:00 – 5:00 pm p.m. will feature talks and workshops on leading-edge research about cancer and aging as well as tools for making the most of life during and after cancer, keeping fit and active, and tips for caregivers.

Faculty from the UNC Center for Aging and Health, the Geriatric Oncology Program, and the UNC Comprehensive Cancer Support Program will lead the sessions. A reception will immediately follow the program.
