Chapel Hill Toffee and Carolina Brewery have collaborated on a new Chapel Hill Toffee Stout. A portion of the proceeds from Chapel Hill Toffee Stout sales will be donated to UNC Lineberger. Chapel Hill Toffee Stout can be purchased at Carolina Brewery in Chapel Hill and Pittsboro, Weaver Street Market in Hillsborough and Carrboro, Bonchon in Chapel Hill, Tyler's in Carrboro, Carrboro Bottle Shop, Sam's Quick Shop in Durham, Sam's Bottle Shop in Durham and Glass Jug in Durham.

Head for the Cure is heading to North Carolina to watch the Tar Heels take on the Blue Devils on Saturday, Sept. 23. Join them for a tailgate before the game for free food and beverages. You may also purchase game tickets for $20 each through their ticket block by Sept. 15.

Pedal for Peds is a day of cycling and celebration to bring awareness of childhood cancers and benign blood diseases by raising funds to support research that will improve patient outcomes. Participants can bike up to 50 miles on the beautiful American Tobacco Trail, or take part in hourly spin classes and yoga sessions. The event benefits the Division of Pediatric Hematology Oncology at UNC Hospitals.

For the eighth year, UNC Oncology will sponsor team in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk. This year the team will participate in the Raleigh walk on Oct. 22 at Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary. Everyone is welcome to sign up to join the team. They also are looking for people who wish to donate on behalf of the team.
