Please join the UNC Cancer Network for an online telehealth lecture with Kim Keller, RN, MSN, OCN. The alternate methods of treatment offered through clinical trials have the potential to offer improved outcomes for some cancer patients. This lecture will focus on the role nursing plays in providing education and follow up to patients interested in or involved in clinical trials. RN and Allied Health lectures offer CNE and ASRT continuing education credit (upon approval) for eligible participants. Lectures are viewable online via GoToWebinar or by participating in the lecture at one of our designated viewing sites.

Please join the UNC Cancer Network for an online, interactive lecture with David W. Ollila, MD, and Andrea Saccone Snyder. The Melanoma Research Foundation estimates more than 160,000 Americans will be diagnosed with melanoma in 2017. Learn about early detection methods from non-traditional healthcare providers and the therapeutic progress in metastatic melanoma. Community Lunch and Learn lectures are geared toward cancer patients, survivors, family, friends, and care givers/supports but anyone interested in learning more about cancer is welcome to join us. Every lecture has a question and answer section at the end so feel free to ask the presenter for clarification or more information. The William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education

This year’s UNC Lineberger symposium will be held May 22-23, at the William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education in Chapel Hill. The meeting is organized by Ben Major, PhD, Scott Randell, PhD, Neil Hayes, MD, MPH, and Albert Baldwin, PhD, and will feature 15 talks on developmental signal transduction pathways in cancer.
