Chromatin and epigenetic regulation play crucial roles in gene expression, stem cell pluripotency and human disease. Eight known experts are invited and confirmed to attend this Abcam meeting, intended to promote current understanding and advancement in the broad and exiting field. In partnership with the Mountain Area Health Education Center, this all-day Continuing Medical Education Conference is provided through leadership of the course director Dr. Jared Weiss from the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. The event will focus on tissue acquisition, predictive markers and prognostic markers to improve cancer care for lung cancer, colon cancer, melanoma and leukemia/lymphoma. 5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits are available for this educational activity.
