Memorial Gifts

Memorial gifts to UNC Lineberger accomplish two significant goals: they honor and commemorate a loved one and they further UNC Lineberger’s mission to fight cancer.

When you want to offer condolences to friends or family members, you can establish a living memorial in the name of the deceased. We’ll send an acknowledgement of your thoughtfulness and sympathy to whomever you designate.

If you want to inform others of your desire for memorial gifts to UNC Lineberger for a member of your family, you can instruct the funeral director to include the following phrase in the obituary notice: "the family suggests memorial contributions to the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, CB #7295, Chapel Hill, NC 27599-7295." If your family would like a list of memorial donors, please contact the External Affairs office at (919) 966-5905.

To make a memorial gift, please complete the memorial gift form and mail it with your check. You can also call the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Office of External Affairs at (919) 966-5905. Or, make a memorial gift online.
