Meet Mary Dunn, NP-C, OCN
Mary Dunn is an adult oncology nurse practitioner in a multidisciplinary role with the Urologic Oncology Program. She works with four independent clinics and also runs the monthly Testicular Cancer Survivorship Clinic and the Von Hippel Lindau Center of Excellence.
Michael Price, PhD
As a medical physicist in Radiation Oncology, Dr. Michael Price provides clinical service for high dose rate brachytherapy and other cancer treatments. He also teaches residents and conducts translational research to advance radiotherapy cancer treatment.
Meet Susie Whorley
“I’m like a little private investigator trying to piece together a patient’s history so the doctor has complete information,” explains Susie. “Patients might not remember everything. They might have gone to six different hospitals in three states. Paper records, slides, tissue samples, scans, images. It’s my job to track all that down for the doctors. I’m a paper shuffler; we run the world, you know.”
Meet Michelle Gardiner, PharmD
Michelle works in the Chemotherapy Hospital Infusion Pharmacy (CHIP) as a Clinical Central Pharmacist. Her primary role is to review chemotherapy orders and dispense chemotherapy for both outpatients and inpatients.
Jean Sellers, RN, MSN
Since 2007, Jean has served as the Administrative Clinical Director of the UNC Cancer Network. She is directly responsible for the development and operations of state-wide patient navigation and partnership programs within North Carolina. She is also part of the Network’s Consultation Team working to help other organizations develop models of navigation within their community or healthcare system.

As the Quality Management, Related Donor, and FACT Coordinator for the UNC Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplant Program, Alicia works with both staff and patients in different capacities. From revising program policies to ensuring compliance with the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) standards to educating and coordinating related donors through the donation process, she is there.

As a Clinical Instructor and Lead Nurse Clinician in UNC's Division of Gynecologic Oncology, Anne teaches nurses, residents, and fellows best practices for taking care of oncology patients, especially regarding chemotherapy and its toxicities. She works with attending staff to help manage all aspects of care including surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation.

As an in-patient Bone Marrow Transplant nurse practitioner, Kimberly treats and supports patients receiving a transplant. She provides consolidation chemotherapy and helps manage acute chemo toxicity and transplant related complications and infections.

As a physician assistant in the Adult Bone Marrow Transplant program, Amber performs detailed and comprehensive medical evaluations on pre-transplant and post-transplant patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
