Belinda Gunn

As an administrative support specialist for the Adult Hematology Oncology Program, Belinda is the first point of contact for new patients.

Belinda Gunn"I love that I get to help build a pathway on their road to recovery. It's more than just collecting their medical history and every scan and biopsy that has led them to me. It's about building a relationship with each of them and their family," explains Belinda.

"From the first time we speak, they are trusting me not only to do my job, but to guide them through the process and not to let them feel like just another cancer patient."

Belinda has worked with the Adult Hematology Oncology program for the past six years. "During that time, this program has grown tremendously from physicians and staff to our patient load," she says. "I can honestly say I would not want to work anywhere else."

In her spare time Belinda loves to travel to places both near and far. "I’m always open to trying something new," she explains. "Change is good - you never know, you just might like it!"

She also loves to spend time with her family, friends and her dachshunds (all five of them)!
