Evelyn Green

Evelyn is the Administrative Support Supervisor and Benign Hematology Program Coordinator for UNC Hospitals at Carolina Pointe II.

As Program Coordinator for the Benign Hematology Program, Evelyn is the first contact each patient has with the clinic, and she helps set the tone for a successful visit.

"I make sure the physicians have everything they need prior to each patient's visit such as blood work, scans, and pathology reports. I also make sure the patients know what to expect once they arrive," she explains. "It really starts with the first impression and I try to make sure it's a good one."

As the Administrative Support Supervisor, her goal is to maintain a pleasant environment for staff, physicians and, most importantly, the patients. "It's my job to make the patients as comfortable as possible," she says. "When a patient says 'Thank You'  with a smile, that's one of the best feelings in the world."

In her spare time, Evelyn is very active in her church and loves to sing.
