Pat Odell, RN, BSN
As an Adult Bone Marrow Transplant Nurse Coordinator, Pat provides patients and families with education regarding the transplant process and coordinates their appointments and tests to prepare for their transplant admission.
She also works closely with the rest of the adult transplant team and other members of the adult multidisciplinary team.
Pat has been employed at UNC for 15 years—during her first 10 years here she worked as an adult and pediatric liver transplant coordinator in solid organ transplant.
"I joined the Bone Marrow Transplant team in 2007," says Pat. "I love this job and feel so privileged to be able to work with such a wonderful team and to be able to serve patients and their families as they face such a difficult time in their lives."
She likes to read, spend time with family and friends and relax at the NC coast. She adores her cairn terrier, Beau, who is spoiled to the max!
