Paula Stinson, RN, BSN, CPON
In addition, she also works closely with the rest of the pediatric transplant team and other members of the pediatric multidisciplinary team to meet the needs of patients and families.
"I work at UNC Health Care as part of the Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplant program because I know that I am involved in something very special. Patients and families that I have a pleasure to meet every day allow me to be part of their journey, which I know is a difficult one," explains Paula. "I am inspired by all of our patients and families in the N.C. Cancer Hospital who, even on the hardest of days, will smile at you while you pass them by. That's what keeps me coming back to work each and every day."
When not at work, she likes to spend time with family and friends. She loves to listen to music, take dance classes when time allows, and be outside (especially when it means taking part in water sports on the lake).
