Over 100 people attended the Open House and Grand Opening for the UNC-Olympus Research Imaging Center on June 3. Faculty, fellows, students and staff from the labs of the 11 principal investigators came to see the new microscopes in the facility. Participants then heard two keynote talks delivered by Klaus Hahn, PhD, and Nancy Allbritton, MD, PhD about their research.

Officials from Olympus America and UNC were on hand to cut the ceremonial ribbon.
