The event featured presentations on leading-edge research about cancer and aging as well as tools for making the most of life during and after cancer, keeping fit and active, and tips for caregivers. Faculty from the UNC Center for Aging and Health, the Geriatric Oncology Program, and the UNC Comprehensive Cancer Support Program led the sessions.

UNC Lineberger’s Hyman Muss, MD, director of the Geriatric Oncology Program was pleased to offer the event to the community. “I think it was a resounding success and much appreciated by all the attendees,” said Muss. “It’s a tribute to UNC Lineberger that we are able to have the resources to serve our patients and the public so well.”
