An article on the benefits of exercise for breast cancer survivors recently published on the Runner’s World website is based off of research published by UNC Lineberger member and Associate Professor of Exercise and Sport Science, Claudio Battaglini, PhD.

Claudio Battaglini, PhD and his team of researchers looked at 25 years of studies on exercise and breast cancer survival. They published their findings in the World Journal of Clinical Oncology under the title “Twenty-five years of research on the effects of exercise training in breast cancer surviviors: A systematic review of the literature.”
