Nicole Pratapas Joins UNC Lineberger External Affairs
CHAPEL HILL, NC - Nicole Pratapas has joined UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Office of External Affairs in the role of major gifts officer. She will work with UNC Lineberger supporters, faculty and staff to enhance awareness of and private support for cancer prevention, research and treatment programs at UNC Lineberger and the N.C. Cancer Hospital.
Nicole comes to UNC Lineberger with more than ten years of experience in development, marketing and promotions. Prior to joining UNC Lineberger in June, Nicole served as assistant director of development in the UNC Department of Orthopaedics & Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She has previously been a major gifts officer at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and has worked in multiple marketing and development roles at Wake Forest University Athletics and Washington State University Athletics, Seattle’s KOMO News, and Northwest Broadcasting in Spokane, Washington.
