Keith Burridge, PhD, UNC Lineberger member and Kenan Professor of Cell Biology and Physiology at the UNC School of Medicine, has recieved funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to support his work titled “Endothelial Cell Uptake of Infected Erythrocytes in Cerebral Malaria.”
Along with Dr. Burridge, other principal investigators include Carla Cerami, PhD, research assistant professor in epidemiology at the UNC Gillings School of Public Health and Shawn Gomez, PhD, associate professor of biomedical engineering at the UNC School of Medicine.
