Eliza “Leeza” Park, MD, a UNC Lineberger member and assistant professor of psychiatry, was awarded the 2015 Dlin/Fischer Clinical Research Award from the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine (APM) for her paper, “End-Of-Life Experiences of Mothers with Advanced Cancer: Perspectives of Widowed Fathers.”

This award is given to the author of the paper judged to be the most outstanding submission to the APM Annual Meeting. Dr. Park will give the Dlin/Fischer plenary lecture on Nov. 14, 2015, in New Orleans.
