Breakfast Seminar: Antonia Bennett, Health Policy and Management, UNC

January 22, 2019 @ 7:45 am - 9:00 am

“Can patients with mild cognitive impairment or dementia complete PROs?”

We seek to identify whether patients with mild cognitive impairment, mild dementia, or moderate dementia, can provide valid and reliable responses to patient-reported outcome measures. This talk will present theoretical foundations for this work, as well as preliminary findings from patient interviews and secondary data analysis. The findings from this research will inform clinical trial design and help us identify symptom assessment strategies that are inclusive of patients with cognitive impairment.

The Cancer Outcomes Research Program Breakfast Seminar Series is organized by Drs. Ethan Basch, Stephanie Wheeler, and Matthew Nielsen. Please arrive at 7:45am to join us for a hot breakfast buffet prior to the start of our 8:00am meeting. Parking is available at the Rams Head parking deck next door; we will give you vouchers to park for free.
