“Measuring and Overcoming Health Delivery Barriers to Optimal Breast Cancer Outcomes”
This presentation focuses on health delivery and outcomes for patients with breast cancer, especially hormone receptor breast cancer. It includes findings from cancer registry and our group’s large cohort studies regarding real-world survivorship, toxicities and quality of life. It also focuses on mechanisms of oral cancer therapy nonadherence including policy, pharmacy access, and the complexity of comorbid treatments.
The Cancer Outcomes Research Program Breakfast Seminar Series is organized by Drs. Ethan Basch, Stephanie Wheeler, and Matthew Nielsen. Please arrive at 7:45am to join us for a hot breakfast buffet prior to the start of our 8:00am meeting.
