Breakfast Seminar: Eliza (Leeza) Park, Psychiatry, UNC

Nearly one in five cancer patients in active treatment is a parent of a minor child. Dr. Park will present research related to the relationships between parental status and the mental health and end-of-life outcomes of patients with advanced cancer and their family members. This presentation will review the unique psychological distress of parents with life-limiting cancer and the enduring impact of their death on their family members.
The Cancer Outcomes Research Program Breakfast Seminar Series is organized by Drs. Ethan Basch, Stephanie Wheeler, and Matthew Nielsen. Please arrive at 7:45am to join us for a hot breakfast buffet prior to the start of our 8:00am meeting. Parking is available at the Rams Head parking deck next door; we will give you vouchers to park for free.
