- New or gently used "Coffee Table" books for the Beautiful Vision
Imagery Library Collection for chemo area. Coffee table books contain
photos with minimal words. New books can be purchased and donated
through the Resource Center staff in honor or memory of a loved
one or staff member.
- New or gently used humor books for the Humor Pharmacy: A Prescription
for Laugh special library collection
- Inspirational and uplifting storybooks like Chicken Soup for
the Soul
- Magazine subscriptions
- Current magazines (within the past year)
Basics
- Gift certificates to local grocery stores (Whole Foods, Harris
Teeter, Lowes, etc.) to be used for family support and grocery
store gift cards for families needing assistance with food because
they are spending their extra funds on gas
- Gas gift cards for families having difficulity traveling to appointments
- Individuall wrapped teas, coffee, hot chocolate, or cup-of-soup
- Fresh flowers with low fragrance
