Gift cards to local grocery stores (Food Lion, Harris Teeter, Lowes, Wal-Mart, Whole Foods, etc.) for patients needing assistance with food
Gift cards to downtown Franklin Street restaurants (Spankys, Top of the Hill, Panera, Carolina Coffee Shop, Starbucks, etc.)
Gift cards from gas stations for patients to get to and from treatment
DVDs of light-hearted, comedy movies, classic Disney movies, holiday classics or current releases (G or PG-13) for program expansion into the inpatient hospital unit
Individually wrapped teas, coffee, hot chocolate, or cup-of-soup
Crackers, pretzels, peanuts, granola bars, Rice Krispie treats, etc.
Head Coverings and Trim
New or gently used wigs
Wig supplies such as small bottles of wig shampoo, wig brushes and wig caps
Large cotton or rayon scarves for head wraps
New hats that will cover the hairline
School or sports team logo hats for our guys (especially UNC)
Brooches, pins, or other jewelry to add to hats
Books and magazines for Main Library and Special Library Collections
"Coffee Table" books for the Beautiful Vision Imagery Library Collection for chemo area. New "coffee table" books can be purchased and donated
through the Resource Center staff in honor or memory of a loved one or staff member.

Sparkle or character band-aids for Pediatrics

Small crayon packs (no larger than 12 colors)
