Area of interest

In collaboration with our basic science colleagues, I serve as the clinical trial lead in GI Oncology with the goal of bringing promising new drugs to our patients with GI malignancies based on the biology of their tumors. By incorporating correlative translational science into our standard clinical trials, I aim to harness the molecular profile of a patient's tumor to both improve treatment outcomes and to determine predictive biomarkers of response to prevent undue toxicity.
