Services are provided at a cost of $25.00 per hour to UNC Lineberger members. Non-cancer center members can receive these services at a cost of $35.00 per hour.

To use the Animal Studies Core Facility you must submit:

• an approved animal use protocol from the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee

More Information

This core facility is under the direction of faculty director Bernard Weissman, PhD, and facility director Charlene Santos, RLATG, CMAR.

Staff members include Research Specialists Silmara Camargo, LAT and Alain Valdivia and Research Technicians Mark Ross, ALAT, Adrienne Booker, ALAT, Carla Johnson, BRIC animal handler and Irene Mwaniki.

Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. After hours and weekends by prior arrangement.
