River Landing Hosts 8th Annual Swing for the Cure Golf Tournament and Dinner

River Landing 1In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the River LandingIcon indicating that a link will open an external site. Women’s Golf League hosted its 8th Annual “Swing for the Cure” golf tournament on Saturday, October 23. Following the tournament, dinner and cocktails were served and a silent auction/raffle took place.

All proceeds from the event were donated to UNC Lineberger for breast cancer research -- $12,500 was raised.

"We really wanted to keep the money local," said Gail Vance, 2010 Swing for the Cure co-chair.
