Quicken Loans Carrier Classic Tickets Raise $45,000 for UNC Lineberger

Alumni Mortgage and Quicken Loans’ generous donation of two sets of tickets – plus a surprise donation of an additional pair by Coach Roy Williams, will send three sets of die-hard Tar Heel fans to San Diego to experience the 2011 Quicken Loans Carrier Classic on November 11, 2011.

The UNC vs. Michigan State University game will be played on the deck of the USS Carl Vinson on Veterans’ Day with a star-studded crowd in attendance.

Bidding was fast and furious at Fast Break Against Cancer, with this once in a lifetime Tar Heel Experience package of game tickets, hotel stay at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, and post-game party quickly rising to $15,000 each.  Thanks to these generous donors, the $45,000 proceeds of this auction item will fund cancer research and treatment in our community.
