What Turn the Town Pink BenefitsTurn the Town Pink events benefit the UNC Comprehensive Cancer Support Program (CCSP). The CCSP is dedicated to helping patients and their caregivers with cancer treatment, recovery and survivorship. The CCSP includes programs that provide much-needed patient educational materials, cancer support groups, individual and family counseling, massage therapy, nutritional counseling, symptom management and beautiful wigs, hats and scarves to warm both the head and the heart! In addition, the CCSP provides valuable assistance for economically stressed patients such as vouchers for gas, food and parking. |
