A certified Les Mills fitness instructor on the side, Jill teaches a weight-lifting class called BodyPump. She is also a runner and loves to compete in long distance races (she says she is competitive to a fault)! She met the man of her dreams almost 10 years ago at UNC Hospitals when he was an intern and she was a new grad nurse. Today, they have three kids ages five and under, none of whom like to sleep. Needless to say, she drinks lots of coffee.
"I'm a two-time graduate of UNC’s School of Nursing and my first job was as a nurse on the inpatient oncology unit at UNC Hospitals, well before the N.C. Cancer Hospital was imagined. You could say that I grew up at UNC," says Jill. "And I'm still here because I believe in the mission and vision. The people here are dedicated, driven and truly care about the people they serve. I feel lucky to be a part of something so big and so meaningful to so many people."
