"Our patients may have been to many different facilities, and there’s a bit of an investigatory element to what I do. It can be challenging, but the work I do can also be so meaningful to someone else," says Laura.
"I love the work that we do here. My coworkers are supportive and over the years have become like family, and the same can be said for many of our patients," she explains. "I can’t imagine myself NOT doing this good work!"
"I plan to keep on doing this job until I’m so old you’ll have to sweep me out the door." She has worked with the Head and Neck Oncology Program for the past 12 years.
Laura loves to read and go to craft fairs with her husband, Bob. They share a love of the mountains and often dream of retiring there one day.
