In addition, she also works closely with all members of the adult and pediatric transplant program to ensure a quality program and maintain the standards of out FACT accreditation.

"As the related donor coordinator, I have the honor to work with the related donors for our BMT patients.  Whether it is an adult or child, sibling or parent, I want them to have a great experience as a donor at UNC. I am able to provide education, coordinate and assist them through the donation process. We are thankful for our donors because they are the reason that we can provide BMT to our patients. As the quality management coordinator, I am able to continuously work on process improvement and policy review for our program. It is a great collaboration with all members of the BMT team."

When not at work, she likes to spend time with  family and friends.  She loves to listen to music, take dance classes when time allows, and be outside (especially when it means taking part in water sports on the lake).
