UNC CANCER CARE ARRIVES IN DARE COUNTY

On Friday, June 6th, the UNC Specialty Clinic opened its doors to patients in Dare County and the surrounding areas. Dr. Thomas Shea, UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center associate director of clinical outreach, and Jean Sellers, RN, oncology program manager traveled to Nag’s Head for the first day of clinic operations.

The clinic opening included an opportunity for the community to learn more about the resources that UNC will be providing and to meet Lynn Mills, RN, MSW, the Outreach Nurse Navigator for Dare County.

UNC Health Care and Dare County leaders are committed to bringing leading-edge cancer care to the people of Dare County (and the entire state of North Carolina).
