Thomas Shea, MD, has served on the Executive Committee of the North American and International Bone Marrow Transplant Registry and is President-elect of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Center for International Bone Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR), the world's largest repository of data on transplant outcomes.
He serves on the Editorial Board of the Biology of Blood and Marrow Transplant and as a reviewer for numerous journals including Blood, J of Clinical Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplant, Clinical Cancer Research and Cancer Chemotherapy and Pharmacology.
He also serves as Associate Director for Outreach Programs for the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, and Associate Chief and Fellowship Program Director for the Division of Hematology and Oncology.
