Jeff is from Burke, Virginia and graduated from the University of Virginia in 2011 where he majored in physics. Through the UVA Army ROTC program, Jeff commissioned as an infantry officer. After completing the U.S. Army Ranger School, Jeff led infantry and reconnaissance platoons in the 82nd Airborne Division as a paratrooper and jumpmaster based at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Seeing military medicine at work during a deployment to Afghanistan, Jeff switched gears and applied to medical school. Currently in the military’s Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP), Jeff will return to the military as an Army physician and looks forward to the opportunity to provide medical care to soldiers and their families. In the Vincent Lab, Jeff focuses on computationally predicting minor antigens in allogeneic stem cell transplant.
