Carolinas Against Cancer was incepted in 2010 as a way for the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA): Carolinas Chapter to support a different cancer-related cause each year. This year, the Association is on a mission to find a cure for pancreatic cancer. The chapter will host four fundraising golf outings across North and South Carolina, and will keep the funds close to home by donating all money raised to UNC Lineberger to be used for pancreatic cancer research.

Four of the Chapter’s regions will hold a fundraising golf outing in conjunction with one of their meetings. The four below-mentioned clubs have generously offered their course at no cost so that all proceeds can go directly toward our cause. Additionally, the Carolinas Club Foundation has generously offered a $1,000 education grant to the region that raises the most money.

Monday, June 30 – Upstate-Mountain Region: Greenville Country Club, Greenville, SC

 What we need from you:

  • Your participation! Please make plans to join us for one, some or all of the outings. These opportunities offer a great way to explore our Chapter and see and play some of the greatest clubs around.
  • Your club member, friend and/or vendor participation! The more the merrier, as the more money raised the closer we are to finding a cure for cancer. Please share these great opportunities with your personal and professional network.
  • Your sponsorship leads! Our goal is to secure $1,500-worth of sponsorships per event to cover all of the food & beverage and labor costs. This is a great way for local vendors to support our Chapter and this initiative at a lesser price than our Carolinas Sponsorship Program allows. If you have a sponsorship idea or connection, please contact Gustavo Muzzolon, CCM, CEC, at

Thank you for your support! We look forward to seeing you around the Chapter as we collectively raise money to find a cure!
