Now in its second year, the Charity Challenge began as a way for Isner to celebrate his mother - a colon cancer survivor - and to give back to UNC Lineberger, where his mother underwent treatment.
Isner and Querrey will kick off this year's event with a celebrity golf pro-am on Friday, November 18 followed by an evening celebration featuring an auction, live music, and a Carolina-style BBQ dinner.
On Saturday, November 19, the tennis duo will host a special youth clinic and tennis exhibition. Local country clubs will have the opportunity to compete in a round robin doubles tournament for a chance to play against Isner and Querrey in the championship match.
Proceeds from the event will benefit UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center (Isner's designated charity) and the Boys & Girls Club of Conejo & Las Virgenes (Querrey's designated charity).
