Louise Henderson

Louise Henderson, PhD, is a professor at the University of North Carolina in the Department of Radiology and an adjunct professor in the Department of Epidemiology. Her research focuses on generating evidence on the benefits and harms of cancer screening in the areas of breast, liver, and lung cancer. She is Director of the Carolina Mammography Registry (part of the national Breast Cancer Surveillance Consortium), Director of the North Carolina Lung Screening Registry, and co-leader of the Cancer Epidemiology Program at the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.
