Area of Interest
My specific area of interest within cancer prevention and control is interventions and implementation strategies to improve follow-up of abnormal cancer screening tests and the transition from cancer screening to diagnosis. My research spans all screen-detectable cancers: breast, cervical, colorectal, lung, and prostate cancer.
I am additionally interested in studying the implementation of alternative methods of cancer screening, (e.g., self-sampling, community-based cancer screening, mobile cancer screening, bundled cancer screening) to simplify and streamline cancer screening for vulnerable populations and test the effect of alternative methods on overcoming health-related social needs.
