Area of Interest
Dr. Weiner is a board-certified radiation oncologist who specializes in thoracic and gynecologic malignancies. She has clinical and research interests in advanced radiation techniques, including MRI-guided brachytherapy and stereotactic body radiotherapy. (SBRT). As the Medical Director of the Radiation Oncology clinic, she serves on a variety of committees for Quality and Safety.
She is a Clinical Associate Professor in the School of Medicine and serves as the Chair of the UNC Lineberger Cancer Center Protocol Review Committee. She serves as a Thoracic Section Editor for Practical Radiation Oncology, on the Guidelines and Lung Committees for ASTRO, and on the Cervix and Lung Committees for NRG Oncology.
