Meet Carrie Lee
Area of Interest
Carrie Lee, MD, MPH is a professor in the Division of Oncology. As a medical oncologist, Lee’s clinical practice focuses on lung cancers. She has broad experience with both novel and standard of care chemotherapy regimens. Lee serves as the medical director of UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Clinical Protocol Office. In this role, she oversees the clinical, regulatory, compliance, financial and data management for therapeutic clinical trials supported by UNC Lineberger. She is also the medical director of the N.C. Cancer Hospital’s Clinical Trials Unit where many of our patients are treated early phase clinical trials. Lee has a passion for providing compassionate oncology care, leading an excellent team of clinical trials staff, as well as advancing the science behind the development of new anti-cancer treatments.
