John A. Baron

John Baron, MD, MS, MSc, is a UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center member and Professor in the UNC-Chapel Hill Department of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

Area of interest

My work has focussed on the epidemiology and prevention of colorectal neoplasia. Currently I am investigating the immunological response to colorectal pre-invasive lesions. Other interests include estrogen-related cancers.
