Project Director, UNC Lineberger Equity Council
Lauren Matthews, MPH, is the Project Director for the UNC Lineberger Equity Council and the EQUITY in Clinical Trials Program at UNC Lineberger. She supports and manages the ongoing development and implementation efforts for both initiatives. Lauren’s experience includes almost ten years of research project management and community engagement focused on addressing cancer health disparities. She is very passionate about increasing awareness and participation in research for underrepresented populations. Lauren graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with her MPH in Health Policy and Administration and has plans to pursue an advanced degree in the near future focused on leadership and public health policy.
