Area of Interest
My interests encompass all aspects of the endocrine system that is treated by surgeons, especially cancer and benign functional tumors. This includes the basic biology of malignancy as well as the clinical features and management of those diseases. My current research interests include the study of outcomes that are important to patients, especially fatigue fatigue after thyroid surgery, as well as the development of novel methods for imaging of parathyroid glands.
