Area of Interest
My research interests focus on evaluating the net benefits of cancer screening in real world settings, the incorporation of biomarkers to improve risk prediction, and comparative effectiveness of new cancer screening and surveillance tools. I currently lead two prospective population based registries — the Carolina Mammography Registry and the North Carolina Lung Screening Registry. I am co-PI on the UNC Lineberger Accrual, Enrollment, and Screening Site (ACCESS) Hub of the NCI Cancer Screening Research Network (CSRN).
