Area of Interest

My clinical practice focuses on adults with soft tissue and bone sarcomas, including gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST), and the multidisciplinary care that is required for patients with this group of complex and rare diseases.

My research interests center around patient tumor immune responses, mechanisms of immune system evasion, and approaches to overcome these resistances, using bulk and single-cell RNA sequencing from both clinical samples and pre-clinical models.

I work collaboratively with clinical and basic-science cancer researchers to design studies, interpret data, and understand how to improve upon current cancer therapies.
