Area of Interest
Dr. Iglesia is a medical oncologist who cares for patients with cancers of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and bile ducts. His main clinical focus is the care of patients with “young-onset” colorectal cancer, in whom the disease is found before the age of 50. He takes special pride in coordinating multidisciplinary care to provide the best for patients with GI cancers.
As a clinical investigator, Dr. Iglesia is interested in bringing new treatments to patients. He is interested in biomarker-driven clinical trials and close collaboration with translational laboratory researchers to bring new scientific developments into clinical practice.
