Area of Interest

I am a health geographer with a diverse set of topical health-related interests. I have specialized training that allows me to integrate spatial and non-spatial data sources into a Geographic Information System (GIS) and employ statistical and spatial analysis in an effort to better understand spatial and temporal processes and to examine the relationships among phenomena across space. Currently, I am working with Dr. Kurt Ribisl to improve GIS-based methods to characterize the tobacco retail environment and its effect on smoking.
