Rumey Ishizawar, MD, PhD, focuses her clinical interests on inflammatory arthritis such as rheumatoid arthritis and seronegative spondyloarthritis. She has participated in functional genomic research in rheumatoid arthritis. She is focused on providing exceptional care to patients with rheumatologic conditions at the UNC Rheumatology Specialty Clinic at Carolina Pointe II, and is involved in medical education at UNC-Chapel Hill as well as through the American College of Rheumatology.
