Erinosho’s research focuses on the prevention of obesity and cancer risk in children and families through interventions that promote healthy eating and physical activity behaviors. Environmental assessments of nutrition and physical activity practices and policies, and children’s dietary and physical activity behaviors in child care settings are also important aspects of her work. Erinosho’s research includes a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Healthy Eating Research Program-funded study to evaluate the nutrition and physical activity practices and policies of child care centers in three states—Mississippi, Georgia, and Kentucky. She is also leading a NCI-funded project evaluating the effectiveness of a family-based intervention to prevent obesity and reduce cancer risk in young children.
