LECTURE DESCRIPTION
Clinical trials are research studies that involve patients seeking an alternate form of treatment. Often times, they offer hope for many people. Learn more about medical research and gain an understanding of what clinical trials are and how they work.
Community Lunch and Learn lectures are geared toward cancer patients, survivors, family, friends, and care givers/supports but anyone interested in learning more about cancer is welcome to join us. Every lecture has a question and answer section at the end so feel free to ask the presenter for clarification or more information. While these lectures are viewable online, we recommend watching them at one of our Community Lunch and Learn sites. Please contact us for more information and for assistance locating a site near you.
Learn more about our Community Lunch and Learn lectures HERE. These lectures are hosted at sites across our state. In the Chapel Hill area, the NC Cancer Hospital Patient and Family Resource Center and the Chapel Hill-Carrboro YMCA serve host sites.
